Abstract:

This report discusses using spatial assessments to evaluate groundwater storage potential throughout the Yakima River Basin, including Kittitas County. The report shows many detailed maps and figures of the Kittitas Basin highlighting a range of factors, such as basin suitability and recharge capacity. Modeling is also utilized to determine future suitability, groundwater storage potential, and representative concentration pathways scenarios. Recommended MAR sites are compared and adjusted based on climate change predictions.
